Implementation Measures

• The objective of this course is to develop Human Factors Engineering and Design Professionals with basic knowledge of Human Factors Engineering Design.
• Students from the university department of this school can get the application form from the unit responsible for the course, fill it out and submit it to the unit responsible for the course, and then become a student of this course after approval.
• During the course of study, students must complete the compulsory credits and 9 electives, a total of 20 credits. Only after the responsible unit has verified that they are correct, can anyone have a certificate for the course of Human Factors Engineering and Design.
• Human Factors Engineering and Design courses are the only integrated practical courses. Students must seek the guidance of teachers from their respective departments and complete the practical topics related to this course.
• If you have the same teaching content but different course names, you can apply for a credit, and the credit standard will be reviewed by the unit in charge of the course.

Course Certification Process

Students of this course do not need to apply for this course in advance, they can apply for course certification after completing the course. After completing the compulsory and elective credits, the Department of Industrial Engineering and Management shall issue a Certificate of Human Factors Engineering and Design Courses after being checked by the responsible unit. However, in order to facilitate the statistics of the number of students, please fill in the application form for the students who are interested in taking the course, so as to plan the follow-up course schedule. The main purpose of "Human Factors Engineering and Design Program" is to train students to have the professional knowledge of human factors engineering, and to train students to apply human factors engineering to various designs (such as tools, equipment, electronic products, vehicles, web pages, etc.) Application software, medical equipment, video games, working environment and services, etc.). Standards for Granting Academic Certificates

Anyone who has completed 15 credits of course courses (including at least 6 credits of compulsory courses) and 2 credits of Human Factors Engineering and Design related topics, after being checked by the unit responsible for the course, will be awarded the "Human Factors Engineering and Design Course" course by the School of Engineering certificate.

Criteria for issuance of plan certificate: 15 credits of planned courses (at least 6 credits of compulsory courses) and 2 credits of projects related to human factors and design must be completed; once approved by the authorized department, the School of Engineering will issue “Artificial Factors and Design Plans" plan certificate.
